    Default need help on the routing using cisco 2801

    Hi Guys,

    Need help on my predicament right now on the routing.

    We currently have a barter and citrix server located at our head office IP addresses 192.168.10.2 and 192.168.10.3 both running a windows 2008 server with mysql.

    We have 2 isp's Bayan Tel with WAN IP 10.10.102.2 GATEWAY 10.10.102.1 LAN IP 192.168.120.0 and PLDT with WAN IP 10.212.193.2 GATEWAY 10.121.193.1 LAN IP 192.168.10.0. The PLDT via serial port and the BAYAN TEL via Fast Ethernet 0/0 all are connected through a CISCO 2801 VPN ROUTER.

    Configured the remote branch (maasin), which i can now ping the LAN IP, WAN IP and the gateway which is 192.168.61.1, 10.10.102.14 and 10.10.102.13 respectively from the cisco 2801 router. We subscribe to BAYAN TEL for this branch because there are no PLDT telco in that area.

    The problem now is that the 192.168.61.1 can not communicate with 192.168.10.2 and 192.168.10.3 because they do not belong to the same IP block.

    Now, how would i be able to route the 192.61.1 to communicate with the servers and vice versa. Is it possible?

    Please help me guys.

    given the scenario, i presumed the ff;

    ping from 2800 source ip 10.10.102.2 to Maasin branch wan ip 10.10.102.14 is successful and v/v is OK.
    ping from 2800 source ip 10.10.102.2 to Maasin branch lan ip 192.168.61.1 and v/v is not indicated/for verification
    ping from 2800 source ip 192.168.10.1 to Maasin branch wan ip 10.10.102.14 and v/v is not indicated/for verification
    ping from 2800 source ip 192.168.10.1 to Maasin branch lan ip 192.168.61.1 is unsuccessful.
    pls try ff commands:
    >>> @2800
    ip route 192.168.61.0 255.255.255.0 10.10.102.1
    >>> @maasin
    ip route 192.168.10.0 255.255.255.0 10.10.102.13

    ping from 2800 source ip 10.10.102.2 to Maasin branch lan ip 192.168.61.1 is successful and v/v is OK
    ping from 2800 source ip 10.10.102.2 to Maasin branch lan ip 10.10.102.14 and v/v is unsuccessful.
    >>> @ 2800
    ip route 192.168.61.0 255.255.255.0 10.10.102.1 ------ done this already
    >>> @ Maasin router
    i did this ip route 192.168.120.0 255.255.255.0 10.10.102.1

    options:
    1) will try your suggestion which is ip route 192.168.10..0 255.255.255.0 10.10.102.13
    2) Server has dual ethernet adapter in the second will try to add 192.168.120.2 255.255.255.0 192.168.120.1. Have not tried this because the router in the Maasin branch is down.

    Thanks for your help on this matter.

    i think this entry created the problem. to what network the 192.168.120.0 255.255.255.0 belong?

    >>> @ Maasin router
    ip route 192.168.120.0 255.255.255.0 10.10.102.1

    from NRA to maasin it can not communicate. ping reply rto

    pls try ff commands:
    >>> @2800
    ip route 192.168.61.0 255.255.255.0 10.10.102.1
    explanation: 192.168.61.0 is the lan of maasin network. 10.10.102.1 is the bayantel gw of ur c2800 going to maasin.
    >>> @maasin
    ip route 192.168.10.0 255.255.255.0 10.10.102.13
    explanation: 192.168.10.0 is the lan network where ur servers are located. 10.10.102.13 is the gw of ur maasin router.

    assumption: that ur lan nework 192.168.10.0 is connected to one of the interface fe/ge of ur c2800.
    that the subnet mask of wan ip block is /30

    wrong entry and must be deleted in the running config:
    @2800
    ip route 192.168.10.0 255.255.255.0 10.10.102.13
    @ Maasin router
    ip route 192.168.120.0 255.255.255.0 10.10.102.1

    -hope this will help.
