Kung single card solution, I'd go for the 8800GT. Best single GPU, single PCB solution price/performance.
Fastest single GPU, single PCB solution price is no object would be the 8800GTS or the upcoming 9800GTX.

Best dual GPU, single PCB solution price/performance would be the HD3870X2 OC X-Turbo GeCube OC Edition, non-reference cooler with no less than 4 DVI connectors and HDMI Ready via dongle/adaptor. PHP 18,500.00. This is far cheaper than going SLI with two 8800GT/GTS and the performance of the HD3870X2 OC far surpasses that kind of SLI setup.

But... your motherboard is an X38. And most X38's if not all are CFX/CrossFireX compatible.

So... If you plan to do a dual card tango, best bet would be ATi, not nVidia. As of now, CFX scales BETTER than SLI. CFX can combine HD3850/HD3870/HD3870X2 easily. Refer to the CFX Matrix Chart.

to think na tag 13k ang kato nga shades. ubang shades ma abot na ug 9k+ sa Ideal Vision. WTF. palit nalng kug PC upgrade.

yep, faster & cheaper(currently). dli tungod kay DDR4 mas paspas na dayon cya. naa biyay hd2600xt na ddr4

y use ati's crossfire where in fact, nvidia's sli is faster and cheaper..

ngita nalang ug SLI capable mobo.. go for SLI 8800GT
