    Default Artificial gravity

I haven't researched about this to really say something about it or posible ba ni..pero since gravity based beings man ta..and if ever we got to invent or found a way to do this...i think this would greatly help in long distance space travel..or pseudo science lang jd ni..i don't know but it'd be interesting sa mga science buffs dinha to talk about this..or bacn naa jd cguroi tai breakthrough ani,,or perhaps there is no such term as artificial gravity..hehe

try this one: Artificial Gravity Generator Now Possible?: Science Fiction in the News

i've heard on discovery channel man guro to... that artificial gravity is still impossible. i was on hospital that time. hehe.

    hmm, lets see..

    force of gravity exerted to me F = gm (g=9.81 m/s^2), my mass m=63.5kg, therefore F=623kg m/s^2.

Also, F=G(m1)/r *m, where m1=mass of object, r=distance of object to my body(say 1 meter), G=grav constant 6.6742x10^-11, m=my mass, solving for m1.. therefore m1=220,498,867,775.47 kg. This mass needs to be directly under you and say in a 1m by 1m square. so lets say thickness of this plate is 0.5m, therefore volume is 0.5 m^3, so the density of this gravity plate on the floor of your ship should be (D=m/V) like 440x10^9 kg/m^3 to have at least one gravity like earth on your ship. its like forcing 440,000,000 liters of water into a 1 liter bottle.. hmmmm.

    Is my calc correct?

err, that makes my head spin.

i'd like to see this come to reality someday. that way i don't have to pay for a frickin airline fare to bring my ass back to the Philippines.

Why go through all that when you can just have a simple centrifuge?
