Barely 8 months to go. Brazil is still the favourite.

Brazil is indeed the favorite. Argentina and England are also contenders. The problem with England is its manager and goalie.

But being the home team, Germany can also pull upsets.

My team: Portugal. I cheered for them in the Euro. Deco, Ronaldo, Carvalho, and of course their Brazilian Manager.

yummy young Portugal. They have the players. but for sure, it will be a south american country who will win it again. France is doubtful and so is Italy.

Yep, i am rooting for portugal. They are very familiar with the south american style of play, which is very attack oriented. Too bad they lucklessly lost to Greece and i hope it was already behind them now.

England is surely a team to watch.

.......and France must prove to the world that they are not merely a "splash in the pan". Cause aside from argentina, France got the worst insult when they ( defending champions,korea/japan 2002 ) werent able to get into the knock out stages. And their group that time was easy so to speak.
