under other editions you can see LXDE 32bit or you can try XFCE

Both XFCE and LXDE are for old PC. Mas gamay jud og kaon sa ram ang LXDE.

LXDE is a desktop environment that is very light on system resource but highly configurable. Even the contents of the MENU can be easily edited. LXDE is lighter on system resources.

If you want something lighter then use Peppermint. But wala siya'a Office Suite Manual install pa ka.

Mint LXDE, Mint Fluxbox edition are maintained by Kendall Weaver; he also made pepperMINT.
Linux Mint 9 and Linux Mint Debian are created and maintained by Clem Lefevbre (not sore of the spelling of his last name).

Both distros are user friendly and their support is good. Heck the makers themselves will chat with you on the forums ha ha ha ha

i386 -works both for intel and AMD cpu.
Most AMD are 64-bit just to be on the safe side use 32bit.

    You can either:
Burn the .ISO using nero or any cd writer software.

Since you want to make a usb live installer download:
    http://www.linuxliveusb.com/

and put ur usb and tell it where you have put the .iso reboot then sa imo bio access the boot menu depending on your bios basin F12, F8 or ESC key na.. then make it boot using your usb. It will run nga walay na naka install sa hdd puro sa ram ra. Now if you want to install just click the INSTALL LINUX MINT sa desktop.

Linux mint has many flavors the standard uses gnome ok siya if imo ram is 1gig if less then use xfce or lxde versions of mint.

Oh one more thing Linux Mint 9 XFCE or LXDE can not install on top of windows (aka mint4win or ubuntu's WUBI) you have to install it on a separate partition on your hdd.
