advice on digicams

i'm planning to buy a digicam...i'm still a beginner but i learn fast so i want something that's good for entry-level users but also has the features to keep me happy for the next couple of years (something that i wouldn't outgrow soon). price range is 20-30k, but i can stretch my budget..

features i want: 5mp, 1.8" lcd, sd/mmc/cf storage, a lot of zooming, pictbridge, not bulky, good after-sales services, unlimited movie recording with stereo audio, something that looks professional, fast (doesn't lag too much)...

i've got my eyes on canon powershot s60, canon powershot s1 is, olympus camedia c-770, and pentax optio s5i...any advice on what i should get? perhaps you can give me the pros and cons of these cams...

Ixus 50 Or Ixus 700 Any of these two... They are the latest offerings from canon - less than a month old in the asian region.. Fits your budget well... You're in perfect timing to get this with the budget you have....

s1 and 770 have more zoom lang gyud nuon.

however none of the options u placed are PRO LOOKING.
youll have to move to a more expensive DSLR for that

get a canon pro1 nalang... nothing beats an L lens! hehe

pro1 is more pricy but nice for pro like features with the hot shoe that the other cams dont have. so yes pro1 is better if u plan to do some studio shooting with ur own studio strob lights and stuff later on or adding a bigger flash and such.

pero lag time is still there similar to s1.
mura s5i has less lag pa gani if my memory during testing the pro1 is correct.

lens quality is very good for its class gyud nuon! however chroma abbriation is bad and distortion is unavoidable gyud gyapon.

lowlight shooting and noise level is still bad at 200iso and above just the same with other consumer digicams.

there's a 6.0mp in pentax wpi, its small like a cellphone and its waterproof so u can take pics underwater price s 22t

@shadow -- pero f u like ngon ako bro ang pinakanindot nga cam kay Nikon naa nasad cla higher pixels mga 8.0 medyo mahal lang pero i think kaigo paman imo budget ana
