Unsaon pag himo og re-image nga installer for windows xp or any os. kabalo man jud ta if mag reformat ta meaning i erase nato apil ang format so new installation jud and HDD. but ang re-image kay install ka os but naa na daan mga gi install like word or games unsaon kaha na... need your help. do i need a dvd disk or cd disk? or hdd ra ako gamiton?

ang image mura raman na siya backup... this is what i do... format harddisk, then install OS... then install all applications. After everything is installed, use a backup imaging program like acronis true image or Macrium Reflect (free ni siya).. make an image, then thats it naa naka backup.

but how do i install it lets say i reformat nako akong pc. uunsaon mana nako para katong akog gi image ma install apil ang os og ang preloaded installs.

@kabz: Inig gamit nimo sa imaging program, imo i-save ang image file to another partition, or another harddisk, or sa usb drive. Then ang kana mga imaging program naa man na sila option para maka create ka og boot disc. So mag create ka og boot disc after naa naka image na save. So if you want to restore your OS with your other installed program, just insert the boot disc sa CD drive and restart your pc... then mo load to iya program inig restart... nya browse lang kung asa to nimo gi save imo image file to restore, dala na ang reformat ana...

now question napud bro. if i save nako as image unsaon nako pag save sa image copy sa the whole installation sa akong os og sa program.... kabalo ko mag image ga libog jud ko unsaon pag image sa tanan...

PQ Image akong gamit ana sauna. Kong gusto ka tanan e-image, select all drives after software installed.

@kabz: depende na sa image program kung naa ba siya feature to image multiple partitions. but if naa siya ana nga feature this is what you do. let us say for example imo OS na install sa drive c: , then imo mga programs/apps nka install sa drive d: , so inig create nimo og image file imo ra butangan og check mark ang drive c: og drive d: to include sa image file... then just make sure you have another partition like drive e: or another harddisk to save your image.

kung imo image program walay feature to image multiple partitions... ang crude nga way is cloning your harddrive pero expensive ni nga method kay you will need another harddisk. Cloning is an exact duplicate
of your harddisk. Kung mo crash imo harddisk... just replace it with your "cloned" harddisk and you will have a running pc with same OS and apps installed.

unsa naman pud na imo gi-experiment bro? hehehe... pwede pud gamit kag Norton Ghost bro... mao na ako gamit pirme bro... salpak lang nimo ang source HDD og destination HDD then i-boot dayon nako ang usb flash drive that contains the norton ghost... viola...
