^^ the US does not heavily rely on Mideast oil for your information. We only get 20% coming from the Mideast. We have our own oil coming from the Gulf of Mexico and Alaska.

StreetCar. I agree with u. If oil runs out in the middle east I guess there is nothing to do with us.
^^ i dont think oil will ever run out in the middle east. the middle east is so rich in that. globally, they are the number one source for oil. how much percentage of oil in the Philippines is coming from the mideast?
eventually it will run out because its fossil fuel.
Pag wa nay oil sa MidEast expect to see golf courses/vacation spots there. Solar power(once it becomes very cheap) pde sad hehehe
The Arabs are already planning ahead, they know what is coming. Maybe not in our lifetime but it will run dry.
Mao bitaw gilimit na nila ang production of barrels per day.
And they are seeking alternative sources of fuel, mao sad ni gibuhat sa major petroleum companies.
^^^so true then... mao ng daghan discoveries and explorations karon, new gases...
The next major source of oil is the Philippines ... (wakekeke! I wish...)
Oil is a finite resource. There are other alternative sources, like Malaysia is developing gasoline from palm oil, though not as abundant as crude oil, it maybe sufficient to fuel hybrid cars these days.
Both car manufacturers and petroleum companies are now in a hunt for alternative sources ... like Honda is developing a car that would run on Hydrogen (resulting in water) during combustion with oxygen .. etc.
i think before na mahurot, maka kita na ug laing alternative ang other nations...
then Bush would probably look for another interesting act again for conspiracy theorists to go gaga about...Originally Posted by Mr. Fernandez
seriously, if world oil production would come to its peak particularly oil coming from middle east, then expect soaring oil prices.. hmmm about $70-$100 per barrel? that's a wild guess.. it's not impossible though.. if supply falls behind demand, that's where things go bad..
Kung mahurot na gyud, I think thats the time mogawas for production ang mga hybrid cars.
