depends... which games
for FPS multiplayer games it not enough, for round based games like CIv3 or sumthing like that it should be enough lol. I used to lag even with my 512kbps connection. depends also on the server you wanna play on

a bandwidth of about 5~10kb/s is perfect for almost ALL online MMORPG its the ping times that matter.. id rather have a 128k bandwidth with 30ms or less ping than have 1mbit but for 600ms ping
