Q to DSL users

hello.. this goes to anybody who is using PLDT DSL but any ISP having the same problem may also post thier coments, may it be single user or for net use... i have been experiencing LOOOOONG ping times that averages about 1000+ms... has anyone experience this? this LAAAG usually happens every afternoon about 1pm since 2weeks ago and mostly get to normal only after 6-7pm... its just that these past 3 days i have registered at max 4000ms, low at 800ms and averages about 1500-2000ms which is really not good for online gaming(which is my main income at the shop)

if anyone have experienced this, pls post your comments.. any other suggestion, lan test or dsn testing will be helpful too..

PS.. tried calling PLDT already and guess what, i nid to upgrade daw.. tsk! i dont even nid HIGH bandwidth(i got 768/384 line) for most online games onget nid 1K but highly dependent on PING, right?

wla man ko problema in terms sa ping time. globelines hinuon ni ako. 300 ms ave.

What servers are you connecting to? If you are connecting to a server in Greenland, then your problems should be normal.

nyak kalayu pud ana... just pinging DNS & Gateway given by PLDT.. but anyways thanks for the reply.. PLDT finally admitted after many times of calling them that they are having problems with a node and our line was affected... hope things will go well...

I'm a globe dsl subscriber.. during their first install i got an 80ms response time when i ping to their dns server & gateway.. but now I notice that the response time goes up to 400ms on average.. is there anyone here experiencing the same as mine?

werts ana sad na diri sa fuselage sauna.. its always like that on a "business" line.. atay kaayo sa business line mas mahal imong bayad pero gi sagol ra imong node sa residential nodes...

Same with mine bai, mga one month after nisugod na og binuang, plus oftentimes naa'y downtime na di ko kasabot, mosulod mga major sites like cnn,yahoo,google,etc... pero mga minor sites or not-famous sites di man mosulod... anybody experienced that? mao na gitawag og proxy??
