Lens dilemma (Tamron 17-50mm f2.8 vs Nikon 35mm f1.8)

I need expert advice on both of these lenses. Who has both and used both lenses? I'm going to use it for pre-nups and in the studio (mostly models). I've read so many reviews on the internet but unluckily did not find what I wanted so I needed an advice from the experts here.

I'd go for the tammy.. for me extra wide can be useful sometimes. Its also sharp.. On some reviews I've read. 17-50mm would be good for videos.

as per the 35mm its a very good lens too. No doubt about it..

it really depends on your type of photography.. as per me I choose 17-50.. good luck with your decision..

buy the 17-50, after that, save some money and buy the 35mm....

nice ang duha, pero murag dili man limited to hobby imo ang gamit, i would go for the zoom, though personally prime ako gnahan. trabaho lang jud ka sa framing.. murag naa ko feeling mo cover na kadugayan ug wedding, so zoom sa then prime.

Nikon 50mm f1.4G - not satisfied sa lens (backfocusing, slow AF, etc)

So akong gamit karon is the Sigma 24-70mm f2.8 nga pang walk-around lens nako but 24mm is not wide enough for my DX camera.

Yes that will be my plan. I'm planning to sell both my lenses above then get both the Tamron 17-50mm and Nikon 35mm f1.8D. (older version because it is much cheaper than the G series)

akong suggest nimo TS...baligya na imong 24-70, palit ug 17-50 ug 35mm.

kana imong 24-70 matulog nalang na kung naa kay 17-50. Kay kana sad sigma 24-70 f2.8 walay ayo na i butang sa FF.

Whatt?? I got this lens and I don't have any problems with it and I am currently using this 60% of my shooting time.

For me get a 35mm and save money to get a better zoom lens like the 17-55mm, plus with a prime it will improve your thinking when it comes to composition. Naa ko sauna anang Sigma 24-70mm sold it then got the 17-55mm and its superb lens but I also had a 35mm f1.8.

both lang TS para way mahay.. pero kung usa rajud, unaha lang ang 17-50 kay versatile compared to the 35mm nga mag "FOOT ZOOM" ka. IMHO
