You need all the following:
-bootable operating system
-dvd/cd drive available

Step:
1-Check boot setting, priority boot-up 1st is the optical drive, F10 to save settings.
2-Power-on unit, insert O.S...try restarting if it bypasses.
3-You may see on the DOS system on start-up" Press any key..." Or other., then you should follow(Do this only once),, then on screen set-up will follow.
4-If it restarts your unit, wait for confirmation of the o.s. for what could be next.
