iPhone 5S

Just an upgraded iPhone 5. Same form factor. Mostly internal upgrades.
Available September 20th in US, Australia, China, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Singapore and the UK.






64bit will be a great speed boost.


New part called the M7, works alongside the A7. "Motion co-processor".


Bigger pixels = better picture, pixels are 1.5 microns.
A new five-element Apple-designed lens with F2.2 aperture. 15% larger active sensor area.



Built into new sapphire crystal home button. Ring around the button is a detection ring that turns on the sensor. Button is sapphire to avoid scratching. "Can simply touch your home button to unlock your phone."

- Fingerprint sensor (Touch ID as apple call it).
*Sensor is 170 microns, 500ppi resolution, scans sub-epidermal skin layers and can read in any finger
orientation.
*Deeply built into iOS 7, can make iTunes and App Store purchases by using finger to authenticator.

- A7 (64-bit) and M7 processor.

- Better camera.
*with F2.2 aperture lens.
*2 LEDs flash. Can combine the two lights to get the right color balance for the room.
*HD video at 720p at 120fps.
*Hold down the shutter and will take images for as long as the button is held.
*Takes multiple photos, combines for light levels and then picks the sharpest.
*New 10 frame per second burst mode. Auto-image stabilization.

At the current RAM loadouts (Roughly 1GB+ on the iPhones), 64-bit will probably not provide a very significant speed boost.

Not really a groundbreaking upgrade so to speak, maybe a slight update on the design and pushing screen pixel density higher would be better...
