i posted a new thread here coz i cant create a new thread on realty or business thread...i dont know what is the appropriate place for this to be posted thas why i opted to create a thread here...

to all,

we (my wife) are planning to build a house sometime next year(hopefully)... we have been saving for 2 years na...gamay ra amu sweldo mao kna ra amu nsave krn...i would like to ask asa kutob ang 300k kng mgbuhat ug balay...like 80sqm then 2 storey...coz were planning nga hinay2 lng sa...after the said budget we'll save again for the next project as to asa kutob ang nhuman sa 300k....then until everything will be completed...thanks in advance guys...

i dont if there is an existing similar topic but if ever please provide me the link...

instead of the 300k budget we'll just discuss on tips in building a house. what materials to use in order to save and where to buy supplies here in cebu.

i did some research on on how to save one of which is if you want build a house with a larger space a 2 storey house is cost efficient since you'll save from building more foundation and roofing.


Please do post your inputs as well... this is to educate ourselves on home building.

ang cost per sq.m karon kung ordinary ra mga material gamit kay 10k-15k/sq.m..

if 300k imong budget nya 2 storey w/ 2 bedrooms and 1 t&b plus kuhaan pa sa labor kuwang gyud na bro. dili pana mapoy-an...

bago lang pod mi nagpatukod ug 2 storey 80sq.m, 400k nagasto wala pay finishing (exterior plastering), no paint, ordinary ra mga materials, w/o tiles only on c.r and kitchen counter.

pro sa budget nimu nga 400k...nbarog na ang house?ky if ever mkita na murag tempted na gyud ta mfinish sa project and find possible ways to finance it...(wla pa sad ko mktry ug loan)

mao jud bro...lisod kau mabitin sa budget mao man sad ni amo project karon at first nag canvas mi aning construction (materials and labor) not to mention ang mga hassles kay mao lagi na amo first paln hinay hianayon lang ug tukod ba..then i met this builder its totally hassle free basta naa lang ka lot..sila na tanan bahala pili lang ka sa design..actually pabor kau ni namo na OFW kay wa man mi dha gud...30% ra ang DP which can be stretch to 3 months nya ang balance after construction na which can made tru pag ibig or ban financing..ilaha na tanan processing and labor..mao weve decided to go to Emery estate..ok sad bya..mao mo share lang ko..
