I was wondering on how to properly use the 4 slots of the mobo w/ 4 slots of RAM....
Some say they have to be different speeds...others say they have different Voltage...
So what do I put in there to get the optimum performance from my RAM's?

they all have same voltage and same speed depending on the memory module you use...
i-dual channel bro, same speed, memory, voltages. usually the slots with the same color are the ones you should put the pair in
bro, what's the model of your mobo? answer that and we will give you a more accurate explanation.
you want optimum performance? use Kingston or Corsair (or any high quality brand), with max speed the slots/mobo can handle, use dual-channel RAMs if your mobo supports it.
woot.. give us a picture or link for better explanation.
>drool<
depends on the mobo bro..
some old mobo has SDRAM [2] and DDR[2]
but for new once.. its all the same.. either DDR or DDR2
and i ddnt see a mobo that is compatible with DDR[2] DDR2[2]
please give as a mobo model or link or pic.
mobos now are ddr2 compatible.
yeah.. the prob is this guy wont give his MOBO model.
grrrr.
cant really help him properly
what i ment to say is..Originally Posted by greywolf
a MOBO with 4 ram slot..
and 2 of them is DDR compatible and 2 of them is DDR2 compatible.
take P4S333 for example..
1 MOBO that u can put SDRAM and DDRRAM.
ah ok. google it nalang.
