PLDT-DSL and GLOBE-DSL in one router????

hi mga bro...

pwde ko ask ninyo what should i do to solve my problem?

my company planning to transfer another office location, then we decided to use two providers for our internet connection...PLDT and GLOBE so that any of the two proveders down...still we have an internet connection.

right now our existing network is all wireless connection...so far everything is worked very well...unless kong ma down ang GLOBE provider wla na gyod mi internet connection kay wla nami'y laing internet backup, so were decide to get two providers PLDT n GLOBE...the question is...is there a dual wireless router? or some hardware na capable cya mo dual type...like ang PLDT-dsl ug GLOBE-dsl akong e feed sa router.

what i know is that u cod only have one DSL/Cable connection an a router since u can only see one INTERNET/WAN port on a DSL/Cable router.
U can only use one on either of both.
If maka afford mo, dn u can configure two routers.
For PLDT and a standby configured router for Globe.
Like for example connected ka sa PLDT krn then down cla pwede ka makaconnect sa Globe using the same router but the problem is u need to reconfigure it again then vice versa.
However, kn naa nka lain router nga onfigured na cya for Globe DSL then have imu buhaton is econnect ra nmu ang cable from the Modem to the router then presto online daun ka.

Sa ako lang wala pako kadungog dual wireless router pero dual band wireless router naa.hehehe.Dili na pwede one router nya 2 provider.Buy nalang ka one router aron separate sila connection kay kon ma down sab imo router den ang other router buhi pa.Koreksyoni lang ko mga tol if sayop ko.Thanks.

theres a router being sold by iglobe technology its a dual wan router with failover feature so that when one provider goes down automatic switchover to the other provider. They have a booth in the comddap exhibit at SM function hall so go there to inquire more about the router. :mrgreen:

@ dexfranco: matsalam nmo pre, im sure duna gyod dual router available but pangitaon lang kaayo ni cya...as what u've said IGLOBE TECHNOLOGY dunay sila ani.
naka ask sadko sa akong friend nanag work before sa ISP provider, dunadaw available router na dual type cya kay mao daw na ilang gamit sauna pero dli lang wireless wouter...CISCO router daw to cya then dli sad GUI ang environment kon mag configure ka...naka Telnet daw ang environment.

For me go for linksys bro ky cla maoy maau ana sa ako nahibaw-an.
But Belkin offers lifetime warranty and technical support.
Belkin has a N1 wireless router nga taas2x ug coverage ug kusug sd dapat parisan sd nmu ug N1 wireless card pra ma achieve ang maximum thruput.
Depende na nmu bro ug sa budget sd,. hehhe!

lisud ni bai kung multihoming ka kay default routes man ang gamit anang dsl. pwede ra siguro ma failover sa pikas link kung down ang usa. ang gigamit anang dagko nga company bai nga nka dual homing ug duha ka isp is nagpadagan sila ug exterior routing protocol (bgp) then manipulate nila ang routes kung asa ang inward traffic ug ang outward traffic padong pro dli man sad ni ma apply sa imong scenario.
