is it safe to remove the pin limiting my sata HDD 1.5gbs speed to 3gbs? particulary in cloning

if your mobo only has SATA 150 (150mbps) controllers, then its better you keep it that way, coz there'll never be any change in perf.

if your mobo sports SATA II (300mbps) then y not? remove that limiter and enjoy your hard drive

e, musta baiü yup, only sata 2 supporting boards wil take that spdü wana epek kung di mu supportü
