i guess love is directly proportional to risk.
the greater love, the greater risk there is.
if the question is how to safeguard the heart which would mean lessening the risk, would that also mean lessening the love ?

someone said : make decisions with your heart and you'll end up with a heart disease. tough call.

You can't "safeguard" the heart. Just let the love flow. Have you heard the song "Light and Shade" by Fra Lippo Lippi? There was a line there which said " Be weak, if you want to love".
Ang pag-ibig ay napaka-misteryosong bagay. Hindi natin alam kung kelan darating...'Di rin natin alam kung kelan aalis. So the best thing to do is be grateful that for once in your lifetime, you experienced it with someone very special.
