Default How to cash in US Dollar checks?

Hi, I'd just like to ask where and how can I cash in or deposit my dollar checks to my peso savings account? I tried to go to BPI this morning and they said I need to have a dollar account. Is there any easier way for this? Do money changers accept these checks and cash em ryt away?

If you have a BPI account in peso, you can probably deposit it for collection. It will just take around 30-45 days for clearing. depending on what kind of check you have. You don't have to have a dollar account, actually.

I have done this twice before when I don't have a dollar account yet.
