i think, para sa mga nakafamiliar na sa Win7 OS, muana jud cla nindot na kysa sa xp. pero since internet cafe imu gamitan, we must consider customers capability and familiarity of the environment. I do believe nga ang naandan nila is windows xp. maglisud cla sa windows 7 environment.. and also, if i'm not mistaken, mas daghan games nga madulaan gamit ang winxp kaysa sa win7 as of karon. but its also good to introduce to them the new OS. im sure if mafamiliar cla mas ganahan cla ana.

Windows 7 Professional and above flavours --- since its whats available in market and legal for business use, No HOME versions are allowed.

I vote for Windows 7

Reasons:

1. Long term support for win7, ang windows support for XP SP2 has ended last July 13, 2011. (no more updates coming)
2. For me win7 more stable than XP, XP is plague with viruses
3. The transition from XP to win7 is really not that difficult. For internet usage, ang layout sa both OS is more or less the same. Browser icon can be placed on the desktop and the start menu is on the lower left of the screen.

Go for WinXP SP3 for better and stable backwards compatibility... (Hassle Free if you have one working clone backup)

But If your Machines had nuff resources (RAM/Processor) Go for Win7 Ultimate. (Hassle Free troubleshooting)

very true... and for future proofing... adto jud ka sa latest.. di na man gani latest ning win7... and don't underestimate the power of the human brain to adapt to new things... sisiw raning win7 para sa customers oie... pila ra gud tawn ng mag browse2x sa net oie.. butangi lng sa desktop ug icon sa mozilla firefox or chrome mag facebook nana dayon... ang kana rang butyok nga technician nga ma assign unya sa imong cafe maoy maguol kay naanad sa XP... wa mag cgeg google para ma update ang self... and games run smoother at win7 kay DX11 support na ang OS... ang XP DX9 pa intawn... mas nice ug graphics ug mas compatible ang latest games using WIN7...

WRONG ang idea nga mas stable ang XP kaysa WIN7...

1. win7 is more stable and secure because it will still be supported by microsoft so updates will be released every so often for stability and security.

2. Games will run smoother in WIN7 (especially the newer games) because of DX11 support. XP runs the ancient DX9.

3. Mas hugaw ang XP dali ra ma virusan kaysa WIN7... even if mag deepfreeze paka.. naa nay mga network viruses nga maka penetrate even deepfreeze... ang cafe dri sa amo-a almost half a year na walay sounds kay ipang disable sa network virus ang iyang mga pc... constant reformatting can't do anything... hassle pa jud... this is where the constant security updates come in for WIN7.. ang XP mura nag itoy nga walay mama... pinasagdan nalang nah... gi stop na ang support...

Windows 7 is nice, the price sa license per copy is not
