or should i set up a clone one. what specs to match the money i'd be cashing out.

bro..ug ako lng nang kwarta, id probably go for a clone...or mag assemble nlng ka...nindot na au kag ma assemble na rig sa imo money oi...suya ko dah...murag ang nakamahal ra ana nga package ky ang 22'' na LCD monitor...hehe...

my straight answer? -- no. I think It's better to get a clone...customized with all your specs.

I'm a gamer by heart, and the HP Pavilion Slimline S3180D Desktop PC only has a 64mb 7300 LE graphics card...I'd get a better card with that budget and all.

I say it blows out the prebuilt out of the water, with a better mobo chip (intel P31), faster proc, MUCH faster vcard, twice the amount of RAM, and a respectable power supply. And it is still cheaper even with original vista premium and LCD, and UPS! Kung gusto ka mobarato pa na tangtanga lang ang internal flash reader, pagamya ang vcard, avail sa cheap keyboard+mouse package with the casing instead of the wireless, or pili og mas gamay nga monitor (22" lcd monitors have native resolution of 1680x1050, 19" has 1440 x 900, mas kaya sa 8600gt kung mag-gaming ka).

i think if you're an pc enthusiast, buying an hp setup is hassle-free but it's not customizable...we'd rather go with parts that we customize, which are faster, upgradeable, and cost-efficient, compared to a hp set. Memory isn't everything you know...
