Ubuntu 10.04 Blank Screen at Startup

the problem is i cannot boot to CD. i cannot change boot sequence. i have Lenovo 14001.

help please.

are you using... 64bit or 32bit?

I have a copy basin nahan ka.. we share man

naka try ko ani.. i think 32bit na imong copy.. ang ako g buhat.. is habang mag black screen... eject your cd then balik... pag naa naka ato murag keyboard icon... press down arrow..

that is the ubuntu bug report on freezing fsck. Its an upstream problem common to ALL ubuntu based distro either due to:
a. Plymouth
b. mountall

ubuntu is taking quite a beating because of this bug, sayang LTS p raba. The only work around is to press the arrow keys when the fsck has froozen.

mraljoriz.. mao bitaw ang ako nlang g install is ang 64bit kay dili gyudnako sya ma install as cd.. pero kung naka ISO and ako e install as wubi.. makaya man..

2 na gani ako na burn sa 32bit.. ang una copy kay kato ako g dl then ang ika 2 kato kang gftshftr.. same prob ra man.. and bro try 64bit sad..

Ako gibuhat ani kay ni install ko ug Ubuntu 9.10. Then upgrade to 10.04.
