the more appropriate term would be online freelance worker... kay home-based can also mean: labandera, small time caterer, manghihilot... and everything else... but i think ur all thinking about ONLINE work...

like i said, try oDesk.com... if u want to read something to inspire u, try oDeskInsider.com (it's a blog)...

or the best proof would be to look at the oDesk providers (that's what freelancers there are called)... and search for the pinoy providers... their public profile shows their resume, oDesk job history, and more importantly... how much they have earned (providers are paid by the hour... USD)
