K-12 Are we ready? What's your take?

This is a social concern more than just a campus talk. How ready are we for K-12? I

It's already implemented without going through several readings nor approval in the Congress, but despite the yearly budget cut in education, DepEd started K-12 this school year (major factor: we're one of the last 2 in Asia to have this number years in education).

Cebu City -- June 15, 2012, the Vice Mayor urged the DepEd secretary to resign for implementing K-12 despite the half-baked readiness. With the 3000Php salary/allowance of Kindergarten teachers - 80% lower than the minimum wage, lack of classrooms and teachers, it's like the educational system is commiting harakiri.

ma ready ka TS or dili, dili gyd na maghuwat nmo nga kung maready ra anha ra ina ipa implement. Para nako okey raman guro na as of now. A2ng lang nya i evaluate ( mga 5 years or 10 years from now ) ang result aning K12 if worth it ba a2ng pa upgrade sa a2ng education system..

Maybe, it's the right time to run this program because it has been in the pipeline for a long, long time.
