Olympus E-300, is it worth buying?

i have been wanting to buy dslr from some time now. honestly i don't really know what to buy. i don't really intend to own the most spectacular and expensive there is. i will just be for my hobby.

i saw Olympus E-300, it's 2nd hand worth P25, 000. i read some of the reviews and there were a lot of nice things said about it. i just would like to know what you think! thanks in advance!

naa nagsuggest nako nga nikon d40 nalang daw kay 25 k ra plus filter adn 2gigs memory. murag ok man noh?

Ask for the lens first
If its a 2 kit lens 14-45 and 40-150 Buy it !!!

If its only 14-45, at 25K its to pricy. Its not easy to get
4/3 lenses in Cebu. I kept my E300 because I had option glasses
and an extra battery packs.

I can guarantee you, this DSLR is really durable. High quality plastic body
coated with rubber parts. I choose this cam over my D40X during outdoor shooting, dont
have to worry on damage and cost.

pride of sony ~ Super Steady Shoot (built in IS or VR)
no need to buy those IS/VR type of lenses.

@ neekul....the E300 youre refering to might be the single kit lens package, ky naa man twin lens package ang olympus for thier SLRs, considering the price at 25K i guess its the single kit package..if thats the case better get a nikon D40 nalang, got mine at 22.5K with 2 gigs SD and a small carry bag or the D40x at 27.5K same package with the D40(only a suggestion ,you have the final say) try at Henrys Camera in manila, didto nako gi order tanan nako gamit man..
