i dont think so.
love has been the most exploited, most misinterpreted, most glorified emotion of all. as they say, if people had not known about the concept of love, would they really ever have loved at all??
nah. love is just like a virus that infests people. it is contagious. you tend to be more ecstatic, more idealistic and more expectant when you have strong feelings for someone because other people "in love" are! the magnitude of your feelings makes u think ur in love, even if u really arent.

also, i dont think ALL of those pagans, aborigines and the like, loved their partners at all. i believe they came together for procreation, for survival, and not necessarily to celebrate that "love" they have for each other.

love exists, yes, but not everyone gets the chance to know how it really feels and what it really is.
