more like uh...fountains of wayne and dashboard confessional...

fountains of wayne ain't punk... so is dashboard confessional... although i very much like these bands, i won't go far as to label them punk... they've gone too far with regards to achieving mainstream appeal...

However, dashboard confessional's cris carraba used to sing for a band called "Further Seems Forever" which happens to be a personal fave... Further Seems Forever has been labeled an "emo" band, (i'm not sure if the group agreed with the tag), a genre which resulted from the fusion of Hardcore/New School punk... (although i'm still not sure)...hehehe...

Well, that was my two bits worth...

dashboard punk? emo? ambot lang, pero payter cya. chris carraba gives me a hard on, pang boy band kau ug nawng. mas nindot ang karaan na dashboard, katong dili pa cya happy, mga lyrics kay "...im gonna hear the saddest songs, sit alone and wonder how making out" kaysa " hands down , this the best day i could ever remember", melancholy is cooler... nyways dili man na cya punk

yup, dashboard confessional is definitely a good buy!! grabe sad kaayo ang ATARIS... Kadungog na mo Jimmy Eat World nindot sad kaayo.. They have elements of Emo and PUnk... Nindot sad ang Alkaline Trio as well as Saves the Day, both bands, a varied mix of NS punk and a bit of emo...
