Can't Install Windows OS with previous CentOS

I need to convert my CentOS to Windows Xp. Now as I try to install WinXP over it, the installation doesn't even start. When I boot form the windows installation cd, it says "Setup is inspecting your computer's hardware configuration..." and the monitor goes blank and it remains blank for indefinite period.

Any idea will be much appreciated.

there might be a problem with your installer. anyway, i'm not sure if this is hardware related.

I tried different copy of windows that works in other PC, but still same problem.

whats your system specs?

Mobo: MSI K8M Neo-V
RAM: Pc400 512MBx2
HDD: Maxtor 80GB SATA

try to start to Windows Recovery Environment instead then perform a fix on the MBR. Linux makes changes on the MBR of your hard drive which may have caused this issue.

Yes i gi load na na nako ang default setings but wala man ghapon, poldopunk diba ang windows recovery environment naa sa CD sa windows inig dayon start-up, but anha raman siya kutob "Setup is inspecting your computer's hardware configuration..." then dili na molahos. Try sad ko ug win98 nga CD para maka boot ko sa DOS, then try ko ug fdisk/mbr pero wala man jud. Pero sulayan nako ug lain nga harddisk makalahos ra ko.

I think naa ni sa Harddisk ang problem tungod sa Centos nga OS.
