when i try to load a dvd data or view a dvd movie in samsung..it create a loud noise "hhhhhmmmmmmmm sound"
i think the cd spin to fast...


and it only stop when i play the dvd....

and after that..when the movie is playing..it has a beep sound in every 5 seconds.

i try to enable the nero drivespeed..but it still doesnt work

"Loud Noise" thesame as mine....but I think its Normal...

but the "beep sound", you said thats not Normal return the item for replacement for a new one......that if it still had a warranty...

try to check if your dvd combo drive is still WARRANTY...the best thing that you would do is to return that thing to where you bought it and tell the problem of their DVD combo...

my samsung cdrom drive creates a loud noise too.and then kusog iya spinning pero hinay cya mo read.bati jud cguro ang technology sa mga samsung optical drives.

sa mga combo drives: unsa pinaka nindot so far. mga feedback from other people.

Lite-on, LG, Samsung, Sony <-- kani lang cla kay affordable. :P

i'm using LG. so far no problemo.

encountered problems with samsund DVD writer too... won't recommend samsung drives.

sony... dili consistent. naay dali maguba. naay mamili cd. naay ok rapud.

lite-on... - no comments. :P

ASUS < mamili daw ni ug discs... mubahar after numbers of burn.

I am currently using a Samsung DVD ROM/CD-RW Combo drive here in the recording studio. I have not experienced such a problem before.
