Our company has an opening for a
Creative Web / Graphic Designer. The candidate should have strong graphic and web designing experience. This is a dynamic position working on one (1) website.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Fine Arts or Advertising students / Professionals in Advertising / IT or Computer Engineering students
- At least four (4) years experience managing complex web designing projects
- Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken
- Attention to detail, and creativity in problem-solving
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Heavy interaction and working closely with design and website implementation teams
- Understand how to produce website layouts, modifying existing and future layouts, creating design template galleries
- Converting layouts to valid HTML/XHTML and CSS, bringing fresh ideas and style to the company
- Comfortable in a deadline-driven environment
- A team player, with leadership skills, passionate in his work
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environment
- Persuasive and motivating
- Participate in a weekly meeting
- Available for on-call duties even during holidays and weekends
- Candidate should provide their own desktop or laptop.
- CONTRACTUAL and willing to be OFFICE-BASED
Technical Skills Recommended:
- Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Image Ready, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Flash, HTML/XHTML (without tables), CSS, Image optimization techniques, Static & Animated Banners
- Branding & Designing of Web Templates, Banner Ads, Logo, etc
- Knowledge and demonstrated experience with cross-browser and cross-platform issues (IE, Firefox, Safari, Chrome)
Other information:
- Ideal candidate must be highly creative, have an ability to take specific direction in a collaborative and fast-paced production environment
- Demonstrate strong interest whatever concept is formulated. Don’t sacrifice quality for quantity
- Ability to work in a team and to communicate in a clear way, as well as functioning with minimal supervision
- Able to produce graphics, designs and layouts in an awesome way. So it needs to be portrayed in a way the viewer will be amazed
- Strong project management skills, solid leadership, organized and analytical
- Creative, Aggressive, Team-oriented and Pro-active
