    Default abnormal automatic ip ad setting


    whats wrong with my network? i have 3 pc's connected in router. all are running in win xp. also all network settings are set at 'obtain an ip address automatically'.
    the problem is one of my cpu is loss in network. when i troubleshoot it, i figured it out it has dif ip address. how can i fix this problem?

    illustration:
    pc1-192.168.0.1
    pc2-192.168.0.2
    pc3-164.125.5.1 (but the settings is in 'obtain an ip address automatically'. why is it his add will not be 192.168.0.3?

    ang settings cguro sa imong router, pila kabuok pc imong g allocated? try chk ang config sa imong router

    At first blush, it looks like some subnet problem. 192.168.xxx.x are private/reserved IP addresses while 164.125.5.1 is a valid Internet IP address (very interesting results from an whois search below). Looks like your PC3's assigned IP address is associated with a Korean location. Please post your network layout and your pc3's ipconfig /all output. Edit: I am also assuming that your router also doubles as the DHCP server? Please post your ipconfig/all output for all 3 pcs: the "problem" should reveal itself.

    uncheck obtain ip address automatically and configure that computer manually using the ip address that you want

    manual settings bro.. turn off obtain automatic....

    and set the IP address...

    murag akong router guba..... kay maskin manual config, di khapon pa too...

    try updating or reinstall your lan card driver.
