    Default Fix your monitor by yourself


    mga masters,

    I just wan't to ask something about the condition of my 17" CRT monitor.
    Na-standby ni xa mga 3 months kay naguba man gud ako pc, then ako gi-try og on using another pc
    ni-BLURRED naman iya display but after 2-3 minutes mawagtang(ma-okay) ra cya. The next day mao
    japon ako gibuhat same story japon cya. Unsa kaha fix ani? Do you have the same experience with me?
    Gi-unsa nimo pag-ayo?? Naa mo ika-suggest??

    you might this but you might be dead as well in instant if you shall happen to have mistake. in short, "i dont recommend you to do it"...


    anyway, you may open the monitor back cover ang locate two screws there on a somewhat like a transformer look part inside. it is indicated as "FOCUS". you may adjust this "with care" and observe the screen at the same time until it sharps up. remember, do this while the monitor is ON.

    again, do it at your own risk, ultra high electricity rate multiplied inside!

    Try replacing the electrolytic capacitors, ni dry up siguro na sa kadugay na standby. For safety reasons: Discharge the flyback transformer connected to the ANODE of the CRT by connecting it to the ground.

    BUY A NEW ONE... RECOMMEND... SAMSUNG.

    for your safety, have it checked in a service center.

    Ako suggestion...

    have it repaired at service center...
    kinabuhi intawn ang istoryaan ani....basin nag tuo ka na DC ray voltage ana sa sulod..
    ayaw nalang i baylo imo kinabuhi sa 500 or 600 repair sa monitor.

    bitaw bro, sakto jud sila. dako jud kaayo ang voltage sa flyback. bisag kinsa nga tao makoryentihan ani patay jud. have it repaired/adjusted by a certified tech.

    naa pa other solution ana bro, pag-skwela ug computer electronics or related studies and the inig ka certified nimo pwede na nimo self repair.. hehehe...
