useless having failed to find a decent job for years. and the partner is supporting the family instead of you.

Even if you don't have a stable job,,,, but finds ways to help ease the burden at home
(wash dishes, wash clothes, clean the house,do the cooking, fetch the kids at school, do the house repairs,drives the car, do the marketing, babysit your kids etc.etc.) you will never be useless at all.

Correct. Make yourself useful. Though you are not directly helping out with the cash inflow, you can still do your share by giving your partner emotional support and household manpower.

Be thrifty. Take initiative. Don't nag. Minimize your complaints.
