if your parents are the conservative type, maglisod pa na sila og dawat. perhaps it would be good to declare your independence and adulthood first (by being totally independent financially) and then slowly show them your new gender preference. if you respect them and respect yourself, you will most probably get the same from them.

if you grew up and lived with your parents, then they probably have a hint and just waiting for confirmation from you. Of course, its natural for them to get shocked at first, but they would eventually learn to accept it (they are your parents). Also, you need to evaluate yourself as an anak.. were you obedient and good to them? or do you always quarrel?
Your personal relationship with your parents will greatly affect how they will react when you tell them ur lesbian. This is because if they trust that you are mature enough to live the life you choose, then it will be easy for them to accept.
