Default DELL To establish customer contact center in Philippines

I know bahaw na ni nga news.. but I figured, some are not yet aware of this.. kasagaran kutob ra dungog-dungog.. well here's something coming from the horse's mouth:

New Metro-Manila Center to Initially Employ 700

August 10, 2005 – Dell will open a customer contact center in the Metro-Manila area early next year to provide technical support for U.S. consumer customers. A site in Makati City, Philippines, has been selected for a recruiting and training operations base.

Dell will initially recruit and hire for 70 key leadership and administrative positions later this month with plans to hire and train approximately 700 technical support agents later this year. Temporary offices will be in the RCBC Plaza Tower in Makati. Due diligence to identify the customer contact center location should be completed this fall in order to begin operations in February 2006.

well you are right bahaw na na news, weve heard floating rumors of it since the end of last year. I heard that report emerge from CNN and into our local papers hours after we had a meeting with Dell Reps. As an outsourced employee of Dell, news of that has gotta be one the happiest days i had with the call center im working now, finally we can move on, Every outsourced employee under its account had an agonizing, unpredictable suffering experience as of late before they finally confirmed it. Dell is a demanding, slave driving client, Good luck when they go In-source this time.
