In Managing the Hard Disk... What are the Pros & Cons in Compressed Files??
...Some said compressed files are the best option, but some says it was not good.
...Let me point you to what damn I've been talking about...
- Press the ['windows' logo key] + E, to enter the Explorer.
- Select any Hard Drive which is NTFS Format & get the properties.
- There are two (2) checkboxes which entitled us to select, the one that i'm talkin is that "Compress drive..."
...If we were going to select that one what are the Cons & Pros? Did this enable to attribute the quality of the speed access of the file from the network or what're the drawbacks behind?
...help!

Pros : you'll have additional space
Cons: slow
not advisable if your into gaming, programming and database dev... or anything that requires High IOALONE:Hated and Punished
