ARTICLE I
The Group is known as “C-E-B-U” Computer Enthusiast and Builders United organization. Meetings of members and officers may be held at designated places within Cebu or through the internet via video conferencing, and chat conference. Meetings should be notified through email or by posts in the forum at least a week before the planned date. Emergency Meetings shall be held at the call of officers.
ARTICLE II
“C-E-B-U” Computer Enthusiast and Builders United is composed of individuals that share one common interest. The group is composed of officers, members and a committee. Anyone who is interested in computer hardware, software, modifications, overclocking, Lan Parties and Fun can be a member of the group. Provided he follow the proper procedures in becoming a member
ARTICLE III
OFFICERS:
Officers are elected by its members of the organization. Officer is composed of President, Vice-President, Secretary and Event Coordinator. Term of office for the officers of the organization is one (1) year. Any officer may resign at any time by giving written or oral notice to the organization. Meeting of officer may be held at designated places within Cebu or through the internet via webcam facilities or video conferencing.
SECTION I:
The president shall be the chief executive officer of the organization.
SECTION II:
The vice president shall take over and perform all of the duties of the president in case latter is unavailable.
SECTION III:
The secretary is responsible in keeping all minutes of the organization’s meeting.
SECTION IV:
Event coordinator or a responsible committee shall take over all transaction of any events or programs.
ARTICLE IV
MEMBERS:
All members need to attend meetings monthly, also attend events of the organization. Members must contribute positively and actively in the CEBU istorya.net thread (as for the meantime) and also in Facebook Group page.
MEMBERSHIP:
Any person shall be eligible for membership upon screening and approval of the Membership Committee. Applicants should be of legal age, of good moral character and must have no criminal record. Before submitting application form and registration fee applicant must attend meetings for his application, all applicants upon submission of the application forms become a freshmen. As a freshman, they need to attend meetings and events; they must have only (2) two absences yearly. Committees will have an evaluation to all freshmen, should the freshmen meet the above qualifications and upon recommendation of the committee. All members must pay a fixed fee, agreed upon by the membership.
SECTION I
Official members who commit 3 absences in 1 year will be asking to pay 300 pesos for the violation fee. For the freshmen member will commit 2 absences in a year will pay 400 pesos violation fee.
SECTION II
A member who may damage the reputation of group/organization will have a disciplinary action. A member will receive a warning when commits an unnecessary act or attitude. Any member need to pay an amount for the damaged or may be removed by majority vote of the entire member of the group/organization.
SECTION III
All members and officers must commit on their works and duties assigned.
ARTICLE V
Nomination and election of officers:
Elections will be held in January during the quarterly/monthly meeting. As early as December, nominations for said positions may be expressed through email, facebook message or private message at istorya.net. Voting of nominate person must be present during the meeting; Officers shall be elected by a majority vote and serve a term of one (1) years and Secret paper ballot will be used, if there is more than one candidate for any specific office. When a vacancy occurs in the office during its term, the membership committee/founder shall elect a person as successor at a special election held at the next regular monthly meeting.
