better ask permission from your IT. They are the ones who control and manage the firewall and router so your internet traffic can't make it.
or better find a cafe where you can access any sites you want.
You can also telnet your way to blocked websites. Go to http://www.grex.org, http://www.arbornet.org/, and http://sdf.lonestar.org/. You ought to be comfortable with lynx/links though. :mrgreen:
