hi just wanna know how a medical transcription biz work? can anyone here enlighten me specially on how they charge clients... like is it $$/word? or $$/minute of lenght? any input would be of great help. thanks.

Regular reports usually are charged per line basis (65 characters=1 line) while "special" reports such as Radiology are paid by page. I think it depends on what you and your client has agreed upon. :mrgreen:

Bro thanks for your reply but i just want to know how much is the standard charging for the per line task. I have a transcription job and it i need to give the client respond to my client on how much is the fee. Thank you i hope you could give more inputs on this.
