why can i change my avatar after i place the url? is there a size requirement of the picture and wat file type plss help

Yes there is a size requirement. Try to stay within 65x65 pixels ... it will be distorted if it has to be resized to fit the requirements. They can be JPG, GIF, or PNG ... common internet image formats.
