JOB OVERVIEW

Position summary

As web programmer you’re the one who can turn ideas into reality. By making full use of the available resources, you create web applications together with your co-workers in the IT department.

Key responsibilities and expectations

Code expectations

You write web applications according to the specifications determined by the Project Manager; this can be verbal or by following written code guidelines. Before and during code-
pushes you test and debug the codes you wrote, and the codes your colleagues wrote.

Management reports

Through Basecamp updates, emails or reports you keep the Project Manager continuously up to date on your developments.

Supervision:

As web programmer of the IT department your immediate supervisor is the Project Manager. You work independently but as for code approval, you ask the Project Manager. Additionally you
communicate accurately with your immediate supervisor on the progress of the codes and results.

Summary of qualifications

Minimum of 2 years work experience or equivalent with PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, JQuery and MVC software architecture.
