Default Tambayayong Sugbo = Work Together Cebu. Reach out to the north.

Tambayayong Sugbo means "Work together Cebu" or "Collaborate together Cebu".

Last November 10, 2013 we surveyed areas in Northern Cebu to assess and document the severity of the damage done by Super Typhoon Haiyan / Yolanda. What we saw was heart wrenching. Below are some of the photos that we took from our first sortie.

We won't say much because these photos already speak a thousand words. We need your help, they need our help. Below is a message from the Tambayayong Sugbo Page:

Hello, we now have designated drop off areas for your donations. Please drop only goods, if you wish to pledge in cash, contact us for details. We would appreciate it if you can pre-pack your goods so we can save time. Ideally each pack should contain the following: 1 kilo rice + 2 canned goods + 3 noodles + 1 liter of water. If you can't pre-pack, it's still ok.

    ---
The following are our official drop off areas:

    1) iSTORYA.NET Office - c/o DNA Micro Outsourcing Inc., 302 MIT Building, 117 Gorordo Ave., Cebu City - 2383910 / Tina or Lou

    2) Koi Creation - c/o Dexter Bongo, Across Dimsum Break BTC, Banilad, Cebu City

    3) Insotec Computers - 2900 Osmeņa Street, Gun-ob, Lapu-lapu City - 3403295 / Andrew or Bryan

    4) Alberto's Pizza - A.S. Fortuna, Banilad, Cebu City - 3456662 / Jason, JP, or Daphny

    5) Alberto's Pizza - Talamban, Cebu City - 3458802 / Fe, Rico, or Dax

    6) Macy's Camera Shop - Henry Chan Bldg., A.S. Fortuna Street, Mandaue City - 4181008 / Che Che or Ceasar

If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.

    - Gerald Yuvallos, Tambayayong Sugbo

P.S. - It doesn't matter who you give your donation to, we're all in for the same cause. We are just one of the many who have allocated some of our time and resources to reach out and help out.

@ajacobs221, we don't have any contacts from that area but we'll try to find a group that's heading there and update this thread.
@dangelndisguise, thanks! We'll keep you guys posted.
@anneganda, we'll update this thread when the need arises. Alternatively, there are other organizations that are in need of volunteers right now.
@lazaro4ever, we can setup a coordination meeting. We are also coordinating with Sentra Cebu car club. I think they are also planning to go there this sunday. I discourage bringing in police escorts, they attract too much attention and the residents will feel less human if they think that we are scared of them
