there are a lot of gun clubs here in cebu, namely:
CPRA - Mactan
Casey Gun Club - Mactan
Frontsight Gun Club
Kamagong Gun Club - Lahug
Gold Cup - Mandaue
so far, I think these are the only PPSA or Philippine Practical Shooting Association certified gun clubs.
most of the clubs ask for an annual due ranging from 3,000.00 to 20,000.00 depending on the facilities and the other perks you get as a member.
requirements vary from club to club. just go to these clubs and i'm sure they'll be willing to help you out.
if you intend to join club shoots, which happen every sundays, you'd really need to have your own gun.
hope this answers your questions.
i think you have to have a gun to be able to join
gold cup in mandaue is renovated....
there is another one along escario st., in front of kukay's
gold arms trading...
haven't check the place at daytime though
(nindot cya nighttime kay it will convert into an acoustic restobar...)
hehehe very ingenious idea by the owner/s
gold arms trading is actually a firearms retailer.
nindot lagi na sa evening. firearms dealer / acoustic bar.

ilostyournumber: palit na bro para manghuwam ko sa imong piece. hehehe
what you really need is a gun...
then go to a gun club and get a permit to transport...
you can go to their ranges or their are events sponsored by PPSA (mostly outdoors)
the earpiece and goggles are provided in the indoor range
pero if you like you can always bring yours
they have also the bullets (mga reloads lang) which costs about 1/3 to 1/4 of the price of the factory loads. (ang mga reload are used mostly for practice shooting, lesser pulbura and lead ang bullet; compared with the factory loads which are mostly bronze and mas daghan pulbura) ang reason ani kay the factory loads are supposed to be more reliable since these are your "combat loads"
actually you have to be a member of a gun club before you can get a permit to transport.
ppsa does not sponsor events but they accredit the ranges. IPSC and PPSA accredits the matches.
hmmm...depende sad. reloads aren't just for practice. some reloads can be specified for competition. and not because they are reloads means they are less reliable. in fact, at least 95% of shooters use reloads during IPSC competitions.
factory loads do differ in weight, height and powder content. one should remember that factory loads are meant for defensive purposes.
btw, joining an IPSC event is not that easy. since rules are very strict and a wrong move in the range can disqualify you from the match, i suggest that you learn the basics first before even becoming brave enough to shoot IPSC.
