Over the years, Cebu Centennial Lions Club has made itself known to the public internationally as
the champions of cause of eyesight preservation, children’s health and
education, and providing disaster relief around the world.
Fundraising Event
A group of 50 volunteers will bring their gaming personal
computer rigs and set up Parkmall. Then, a DOTA (Defense of the Ancients (DotA) is a multiplayer online battle arena mod for the video game Warcraft III The objective of the scenario is for each team to destroy the opponents' Ancients, heavily guarded structures at opposing corners of the map. Players use powerful units known as heroes, and are assisted by allied heroes and AI-controlled fighters. Tournament Details
Tournament will be played for 2 days on march 1 and 2 and then the winning team will receive a 10,000 cash prize (18k prize pool total 5k second 3k third). there is a 1000 peso registration fee.
All branches of GIZMO (cybergate, emall), NUTECH (Main-Sanciangko corner Boromeo St., Cebu City., Emall, SM, Robinsons, Pacific Mall, Gaisano Mactan), and PORT RESTAURANT (waterfront lahug) can be used to sign up for registrants.
There will also be an online registration.
The Reason:
The funds generated from “Tournament for a Cause”
will be used to buy computers for the children of Jagobiao National High school.
Through this event, we hope to raise the awareness
that e-sports, through the correct mediums, can do our society a great
service. And helps those in need.
