Default Tropico...the "Be a Dictator for a Day!" simulator

Tropico - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"The game is tongue-in-cheek in its presentation of banana republics, using a great deal of humor while still referencing such topics as totalitarianism, electoral fraud, and the interventions of powerful companies (United Fruit is implied) and the Cold War superpowers (the United States and Soviet Union)."

    Here's the upcoming sequel...

You will be surprised at how much the game's politics is similar to Philippine-style politics. After all, we're also a "Banana Republic"

I love Tropico ... the topic title leaves much to be desired.

LOL. I thought this was about politics and on the wrong forum. >> Anyway, this seems to be an interesting RTS game.

I would run the Philippines like I would run everything else ... with no BS. I have always believed that democracy is not the answer ... a benevolent dictator is the answer. Unfortunately those don't exist.
