Bb Pilipinas titlist Gersbach, 2 others die in CamSur road crash
MANILA, Philippines (UPDATE) - A Binibining Pilipinas titlist and 2 other persons died in a vehicular accident in Bula town, Camarines Sur on Saturday morning.
Initial police reports identified the victims as Melody Gersbach, 2009 Binibining Pilipinas International; her make-up artist Alden Orense, and; their driver.
Police said the victims died after a Guevarra passenger bus rammed their Toyota Innova. The accident happened around 11 a.m..
Gersbach and the 2 other victims died on the spot.
Authorities said Gersbach was on her way to Naga City for the Miss Bicolandia beauty pageant.
There were reports that a 4th occupant of the Toyota Innova has been rushed to a local hospital and was in critical condition.
Police said the the driver of the bus identified as Wilson Pontillas has surrendered to the police in nearby Pili town. -- Reports from Jonathan Magistrado, ABS-CBN Bicol and Noel Alamar, radio dzMM

Sad to hear that she had to die in such an early age and with a very promising future, i saw her win sa BB. Pilipinas and she's one of my bets to win a title kai calma ra kaayu siya mu answer and her smile is refreshing to see
