2. no posting of hehehe, *laughs*, smilies "types" of posts.
refrain from posting one word (or short) non-sense posts, or the such.
3.
NO DUPLICATE TOPICS
If a topic exists a couple of pages away covering the same issues then the new one will be deleted or merged. Look through the pages to see if it has already been posted, if not then it should be okay to post. Use the search function before posting. The search feature is self-explanatory, so with a bit of practice you will quickly find what you want.
4. Any new thread must have a title with relevant information to the topic you want to discuss. The name of a thread is just like the headline in a newspaper; it helps you to select threads personally relevant for you.
Don't use all caps or special characters to draw attention.
5.
Don't post just to increase your number of posts. If you have nothing relevant to say on a certain matter then don't post. The number of posts on this board has no direct relation to the rank of a member.
6.
Use common sense. Anything that you say or do carries consequences with it. If you find yourself questioning the nature of what you’re going to post, then it’s probably not safe to post it. Save yourself trouble and ourselves time, think before you post.
7.
No SHOUTING. Remember, using ALL CAPITAL LETTERS in posts is considered yelling and rude, plus it is difficult to read.
8. If it shouldn’t be viewed by minors, then it shouldn’t be posted to the forums or chat rooms.
This is a public, family-friendly forum.
9.
Use smileys as scarcely as you possibly can. Each serves a particularly specific purpose, but also can be a tad annoying if used in excess.
Please respect our community and follow the rules. There are many types of humor so we can do without those that aim to hurt/offend individuals and groups of people alike. Maximum of 3 smilies only.
The community guidelines are addressed to ALL forums, which means the humor forum is undoubtedly included. However, we stress that these rules are especially observed in this forum.
Please do not violate the guidelines. It is here for a reason and is not to be ignored. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.
Users that do not abide by the rules may be subject to having their posts edited or deleted, their member account permanently banned from further access and/or deleted without notice.
