BENCHES
One is sound asleep.
The other is absorbed of what he is reading.
Two benches. Two men.
Close to each other but actually worlds apart.

I like your moon shots.. but would it be even nicer if you had the moon be background of another subject..
say an old house (murag haunted house na) or a crying wolf, maybe just a little above the sea would add more impact on your moon pictures... suggestion lang ba.. hehehe
nice one...
Minuano, I suggest you take another shot of the moon right after sundown
today. At around 5:45PM (Phil. time) there will be a penumbral eclipse of the
moon, so take your 20D and tripod out there and fire at will!
nice ba ang gawas if u shoot a full moon during sunset?? kanang hayag2 pa ang sky ba.. na murag nag orange2 pa ang sky (kanang mga around 5-530pm?..
yea.. it nice sad ana noh?! drama sad kaau... heheOriginally Posted by TwinJet

twinjet- thanks for the compliments..
i've actually tried your suggestion, but the problem is, to get detail of the moon, i have to shoot between 1/400 to 1/800, which means that i can't get any detail of the foreground (house, building, etc.). doing the reverse, i'd get a really bright moon without any detail, but a foreground with detail. i haven't figured this out yet, so if anyone can give me tips, they'd be most appreciated..
of course, i could take 2 shots - the moon at 1/600 and a house at a much lower speed, and then layer the two via photoshop..but then, it would be making a new pic out of two photos... i'd prefer to get both with detail in a single shot, so any tips are very, very welcome....
anakin- thanks for the tip... i just took about 40 bracketed shots.will post the best ones later
actually, the important thing to consider is the moonrise, cuz that's when the moon is big. kung full moon at sunset...hmmm...if i'm not mistaken, the moon rises opposite where the sun sets, and the orange glow comes from the setting sun, so i dunno...of course, if i'm wrong, then next full moon i'll be waiting...Originally Posted by pidz111
