    I agree with Silent Critic.

I also have the Nexus 6P and iPhone 6S Plus. I see the appeal of each phone. I understand and agree why each phone is priced appropriately for the service level I get and appreciate the merits of why iOS is closed and why Android is open.

If you want things done for you and be pampered then the iPhone is for you. If you like to be a DIY type of person and do not mind making kulikot every so often then Android is for you.

Want attention to detail, spit and polish and refinement? Get an iPhone! Do not appreciate it and think it maarte then Android ka.

Warranty, so long as you have your proof of purchase Apple will honor your warranty of any Apple product regardless of where you bought it. By comparison Huawei PH will not honor warranty of Nexus 6P phones bought in the US. They may repair it for a fee but to claim warranty will require you to send it back to the country of origin. Huawei is not alone, other brands like Samsung, LG and Sony will refuse service claims for products sourced abroad.

I am thankful that there are alternatives to iOS like Android and Windows. If there were none then a lot of people would not have a smartphone.

Globe uses Huawei cellular network hardware/software this may be the reason why you are experiencing a better connection. I use mine on Smart so it is still the same.

Why are Apple products, in general, more expensive. Below are some reasons why.

Durability: Drop test...link advanced to 9:40 mins into the video for conclusion. Reason why I have a Spigen on both phones

    https://youtu.be/EacHn7NID7U?t=9m40s

More frequency bands require more licensing fees. Important for people who travel to different countries.

    37 - 64GB Apple iPhone 6s Plus $849
    32 - 64GB Google Nexus 6P $549

I am including the three Android One (click the link for a video introduction on the program) phones available here for the purpose of comparison.

    5 - MyPhone Uno (Dual SIM 3G) P2,499
    6 - Cherry Mobile One (Dual SIM 3G) P3,999
10 - Cherry Mobile One G1 (Dual SIM LTE) P5,999

I personally used the first two Android One phones for a combined 6 months and enjoyed it enough for me to get a Nexus 6P. I enjoyed it because I always kept in mind how much they cost. If the hardware and software were the same but cost 10x more then I'd have no qualms calling them garbage.

Android fragmentation... because of how Google and Apple does business this happens. Chart dated August 2015

Android Marshmallow 6.0 became generally available on 5 October 2015. The first phone to get them are the Nexus 6P and 5X. A week later all the Android One phones I mentioned got 6.0. Google promises to release software updates for Android One for at least 2 years since it was announced.

The first phone not branded by Google to get Marshmallow was the LG G4 a month later, in Poland and slowly other countries.

Samsung, the leader among the Android brands started offering Android Marshmallow for the Note 5 and S6 Edge+ last month. S6 and S6 Edge this month. The Galaxy Note 3 of my co-worker only got Lollipop 3-6 months ago.

The older the phone the less likely it will get any support from the manufacturer.

Kaartehan? Ka-selangan? For a lot of people having the latest OS is not a big deal but it really is as an University of Cambridge study finds 87% of Android devices are insecure. When security matters, only a Nexus will do - androidcentral.com. By extension Android One phones (baby Nexus) are more secure as they received Marshmallow 6.0.1 a week after the Nexus 6P and 5X did with a commitment to do so for 2 years since the phones we first announced.

Think of it this way, would you run your Windows PC unpatched? How secure are Windows XP machines since extended support has ended two years ago for a OS that is more than 14 years old?

I honestly do not blame and do not take it against any Android brand for not sending out timely Android updates as it costs money to do so. Money that could go instead towards making new products for sale.

With Apple's iOS 9 (released in September 2015) supports devices sold more than 4 years ago like the iPhone 4S and iPad 2. OS updates are pushed out for iPhone 4S and newer iPhones and iPad 2 and newer iPads at the same time on day 1. So if you are still using devices reaching 5 years old from Apple you are sure that it is comparably more difficult to hack.

Apple takes extraordinary strides and is a leader in business ethics when it comes to the environment, human rights and other concerns. This again costs money. Yes, they are always in the news for one ethical breach or another but they are always in the news because they are the most valuable company in the world. By comparison Google took a similar ethical track with the manufacture of the Nexus 6P (recycled paper, recylcled plastics, recycled aluminum, soy ink, etc) but do not get any press for it.

Apple also spends a lot of money in research and development. That's why Samsung Will Pay Apple for Damages of $548 million for patent violations and Apple wants Samsung to pay another $180 million for copying its design for five Samsung phones sold after 2012.

Samsung isn't the sole culprit in intellectual property theft as Xiaomi is much worse. Even Android sites agree on Apple's accusations against Xiaomi Cult of Android - 7 things copycat Xioami blatantly ripped off from Apple

If Samsung, Xiaomi and other Android brands had to pay for R&D costs and other overheads similar to Apple's then they would need to raise prices as well.

Again, with emphasis, nasa lugar ang presyo ni Apple in the same manner nasa lugar ang presyo ni Samsung, LG, Sony, Motorola, Lenovo, Huawei, Asus, HTC, etc.

In the same manner nasa lugar ang presyo ng Shangri-La Mactan, Harrolds Hotel Cebu at Marco Polo Plaza Cebu.

When you connect it to non-apple accessories like earphone, blue tooth speakers no dramas whatsoever. It all depends on who is using and it's a matter of reading the instructions.
I use a CD-R King Lightning cable that cost me less than 120 pesos. You just have to make sure to test the 3rd party cables with your iPhone to see if it validates with iOS 9 or iOS 10. At such a low price point I doubt these are certified or licensed.

A problem with the charging cables used by almost all Android phones is that you do not know which side is up or down. This is not a problem with Lightning cables as it will plug in whether it be up or down since 2012.

This problem will being corrected starting 2015 when phone manufacturers start using USB Type-C ports and cables hardware and Android Marshmallow 6.0 and Windows 10 software.

Below is a photo comparison among the three connectors.

    L to R: USB Type-C, Lightning & Micro-B

I dislike Apple's obsession with making their phones smaller and lighter at the expense of battery capacity.

As it stands the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are 1,715mAh (8hr 15 min life) and 2,750mAh (9 hour 11 min life). Nexus 6P has a 3450mAh (6h 24 min) battery by comparison.

Increasing mAh 4,000mAh and 6,00mAh would extend battery life to 18+ hours and 20+ hours for the 6S and 6S Plus respectively.

The late 2015 Gionee Marathon M5 (Android 5.1) has a 6,020mAh battery. Not sure how much of a power load the phone operates at though or if it is available in the Philippines.

Yeah and it got me wondering when was the Nexus 6P released..... Oh right! Q4 of 2015. And sir, that comparison isn't just for the Nexus 4 and iPhone 6, they just basically went with the Nexus 4 because it was the cheapest mid-entry phone you can get at that time(2014 - iPhone 6 released).

And yet Nexus 4 is only supported until Android 5.1.1 when today's OS is 6.0.1. By comparison the iPhone 4S (2011) has iOS 9.2. Sure it isn't zippy but at least it isn't a version behind.

The comparison was made not on price but to show how "backward" the 6 is.

Here is a comparison between the 6 and Nexus 4 in terms of commonly used benchmarks. In terms of dimensions and features they may compare but in terms of quality and attention to detail iwan siya. Add the Nexus 4 to the comparison Apple iPhone 6 Benchmarks

NFC payments did not really take off with Android. I say this as they had to rebrand it from Google Wallet to Android Pay in 2015 when Apple Pay was launched launched more than a year earlier. Google Wallet was first in 2011 but Google really did little with it.

I do agree 3rd party keyboards are awesome, Google Keyboard keeps butchering what I write. It seldom auto-corrects properly. Apple's keyboard is of a certain quality that I really do not need to change it.

Magaling yung Google Voice Command in fairness. It understands English, Tagalog and Bisaya!

What I would like to see is a built-in cellular data meter that warns and restricts further cellular data use in iOS.

Wireless charging - click here for Google Nexus team's reason to remove wireless charging and their gripe about Micro-B plugs. The decision to go with USB-C which can plug in whatever orientation (like the Lighting connector from 2012) validates Apple's design decision of looking forward and making life simpler to the end user. Will we see an iPhone with USB-C? I doubt it but I do expect a USB-C to Lighting cable that does 5Gbps data transfers and allow for charging beyond 12W. Also mentioned on the link that wireless charging adds thickness to the phone. I think the only valid reason to make a phone thicker is to add a larger capacity battery in the scale of 4,000-6,000mAh.

Apps installing through the web, that's how you get viruses on Windows, right? On a Mac the last few OSes restricts the ability to install unsigned software from outside the App Store to prevent newly made Mac-specific malware. A closed system is not so bad if you want a straight forward experience.

Android is a great platform and so is iOS. Nasa lugar ang presyo niya sa isat isa. Barato sa barato ang Android but you get what you pay for

I am happy with my purchase but perhaps I should have gotten aluminum instead of gold.

Despite the simplicity of the iPhone or the iOS itself, I can't seem to fall in love with it, I don't know if it was just me or what. It's just that iOS isn't my type.

No product has a monopoly on consumer's demands. This is why competition is good. This is why choice is a right.

If Google did not have the Nexus, Android One or Google Play Edition phones I would probably go with Motorola or any other brand offering the nearest stock experience of Android.

I dislike bloatware in Windows and most definitely hate it on smartphones or tablets.

What I dislike more than bloatware are delayed software updates.

taympa sa this supposed to be why you hate, but instead it became a comparison... thread hijacking naman tawn ni.... just saying....

^^ Blind hatred does not help with the discussion or people in general. Not knowing the facts or at the very least not understanding the context leads to perpetuating ignorance and disinformation.
