dili ni littemate ni ica sir andrew, anak ghapon ni ikar but litter j na ni cya. ikar and rebecca od dragicevica ang parents niya. the one and only male on that litter

ikar (jumbo's sire) when he was 8 mos.

hi there sir snake eye. it really doesnt matter on what pick your rott is, what matters most is that if the pup fits your expectations from it. it would only matter if you would want a real showdog or a showstopper kinda dog. pero we are here for the love of the breed and showing only comes in second.

with regards to your question, id advise that you feed your pup thrice a day until 4-5 mos. just divide the 2 cups per day meal into 3 so as not to over feed your pup. as to what to feed, feed it with a dogfood formulated for puppies on or around 27-32 percent protein content. in terms of coat, the dogfood would suffice enough i suppose especially if you feed those high quality ones, just brush/ comb the coat every other day and thats it. as for the exercise, id recommend that you just let your pup play in your yard so as not to expose it to pathogens like bacteria and viruses. complete its round of vaccines first before you can bring it outside and introduce to other dogs that does not belong to you. if a yard is unavailable, a 5-10 min walk would suffice but make sure that you walk in the pace of the pup. slow walk kumbaga. hope i helped in my own little way. and also, deworm your dog from time to time and provide some quality time with your dog thru playing

@snake eye: i definitely put a 2nd de motion of what sir francis had said..especially the last part-not an expert just passionate rott enthusiasts i just wanted to add a few suggestions- go with 27% protein content or anything a bit lower but not lower than 21% protein so as not to aggravate the fast growing phase of ur pup or any large breed dog for that matter.the ideal growth phase should be steady but not fast,so as not to subject ur pup to joint problems later on.at these age ur pup is like a sponge,learning & absorbing everything based on experience...so socialized it more (in clean areas) using positive reinforcement.avoid slippery areas as well as elevated areas like the stairs for example..as walking 'uphill' is not good for ur pups rear & 'downhill' will put pressure in ur pups' pasterns.and lastly,join CRV...u & ur pup will feel comfortable in it

thanks sir humper, yes sir, mao na ni ato gi pulawan nah early am nata naka uli. sorry bout that . ang male lang sa sir fids, he..he.. para thrilling, btaw sir fids, sa next time nasad kay alanganin nako sa oras when i took those pictures.

ha..ha.. busy man kaau sa trabaho lately gud. kuyawa sad ana gina huwat sir fids oe. if time would permit sir fids, why not. yes kaila mi sir fids pero casual lang. i believe mu join cla sa PCCI show this october with Figo. sorry la ko pics nya. but you can view him during the said show.
